BURA AND BURKOZEL BURA, card game. Another name is thirty-one. Writer V. Shalamov, who spent 20 years in Stalin's camps, calls the bura the most widespread card game of the criminal world. A combination of three trumps on his hands is called a burr. A player who has a boru in his hand wins the game, regardless of the number of points in bribes.
