Guardian24’s lone worker Smartphone application is the ideal solution for those who don’t wish to carry a dedicated personal safety device. Our innovative software transforms your Windows Smartphone into a fully functioning personal alarm – perfect for those working alone. The Guardian24 service will allow lone workers to log in and out of daily tasks, leaving details of their location and the expected duration (logging an activity). If an activity over runs Guardian24 will automatically call the lone worker to verify their safety. If the lone worker cannot be reached a nominated respondent will be notified informing them of the overrun activity. At this stage an agreed protocol will be followed to verify the lone worker’s safety and location. Should the lone worker feel that their safety has been compromised at any time they can raise an SOS alarm to summon emergency assistance. This connects to our 24/7 UK based Alarm Receiving Centre (ARC), certified to BS 8484 and BS 5979 (Category II). Our ARC controllers will be able to view the device’s GPS location and the user’s pre-registered emergency information, including escalation procedures and contacts. Utilising all the information available and any voice communications and recorded memos, our Controllers will manage the incident; contacting the emergency services and/or the organisation’s nominated responders.
